The Weekend’s Almost At An End

Today, I had an extended lie-in which felt surprisingly good and I also did a cycle around the parish. Obviously, it’s not the most eventful day, but I’m still pretty proud of myself for getting out on the bike and racking up some decent mileage.

So… yeah. There’s not much going on in my life at the moment, although I'll be heading to Belfast on Wednesday evening. The Deer’s Head is hosting a screening of Queens of the Stone Age’s performance in the Catacombs of Paris, aptly named Alive in the Catacombs. As a big Queens of the Stone Age fan, that’s something to look forward to. I’m pretty excited to see it. Right now, I’m listening to the album version before I head out for the night. It’s a Sunday, mind you, so I won’t exactly be going “on the rip” as they say here in Ireland.

Apologies… if it seems like I’m grasping at straws when it comes to writing blournal entries, it’s because I am. Unfortunately, when life’s plain and mundane, so are the blournal entries. I’m sure I’ll find some way to spice things up somewhere down the line, but for now, this is Danny T. Quinn signing off.

P.S. Here’s a few more sunset photos that may or may not get added to the website’s galleries further on down the line.

Take care.
