Yes, I know Christmas Day has come and gone, but it’s still Christmas as far as I’m concerned.

I meant to start working on a post-Christmas blournal entry a lot sooner but I’ve been playing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 almost nonstop since yesterday morning, so apologies for that. It’s been a great Christmas for me so far and I’ve had so much fun spending time with my family, gobbling up some Christmas food, getting reacquainted with old friends and soaking in all that good old-fashioned Christmas cheer.

Regrettably, I haven’t watched any of my usual festive watchlist as of yet but I did watch a few festive-themed episodes from some of my favourite shows… specifically “To Save Us All From Satan’s Power” from The Sopranos, “The Christmas Invasion” from Doctor Who, “A Very Sunny Christmas” from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and “A Very Special Family Guy Freakin’ Christmas” from Family Guy. OK, counting “To Save Us All…” is kind of pushing it as the episode has barely anything to do with Christmas, but I love the idea of Tony having one of his underlings dress up as Santa Claus and it’s easily one of my favourite episodes.

But alas, just because it’s Christmas doesn’t mean I have any intention to undo all of the hard work I’ve been doing to my physical wellbeing over the past six months so I’ll be heading out to the gym now to burn off some of the delicious turkey, stuffing and ham I’ve had over the holidays.
