Dia duit…

Dia duit. Haigh. Failte. Danny is ainm dom.

Don’t mind me. I’ve been using DuoLingo to learn Irish for the past few weeks. Haven’t missed a day since I started (which was 22 days if I’m to be believed), but my grasp of the Irish language still has a long fucking way to go before I could ever hope to hold any kind of conversation in Irish.

Anyway, I’ll be heading out for the midweek pub quiz soon and I thought it might be… well, maybe not necessarily a good idea, but I wanted to kill time before I got ready by writing a short post to get my juices flowing. Even if it’s nothing all too substantial, I still think it’s good to let you all know that I’m still kicking around and that I still intend to make this website the best it can possibly be, at least with the resources at my disposal. I’ve got plenty of ideas but I don’t know how to turn those ideas into reality. It might just be another case of trial and error… maybe experimenting to see what works. So, watch this space.

OK then. That’s me away to the pub for a few pints and a bit of craic. Fingers crossed that we win. My team won a fortnight ago and we still have a leftover voucher that I’m hoping we’ll able to use. Once again, fingers crossed.
