Fresh start… more like, false start

So... I was going to write a blournal yesterday about how September was gonna be a fresh start for me, but then I got sidetracked playing Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando… again. Beat the final boss and sunk a few too many hours into my second playthrough on Challenge Mode, so naturally, I didn’t sleep all too well last night. Oops. Mea culpa.

Oh, well. I’m gonna beat myself up over it. I had so much fun playing through Going Commando and I’m still having fun with it. I just need to make sure that gaming incessantly for hours doesn’t become a habit. Did I say that before? Yeah, I probably did, but hey, I did say the website, and the blournal by extension, was being soft-rebooted so it probably doesn’t matter all that much.

Anyway, I might have to cut this one a bit short. I’m heading down to the Hub now for another workout and I’ll have to make it count too because I’m gonna be away to Manchester for a stag do over the weekend – my first ever – and I have a very early start on Friday morning. I usually don’t bring the laptop with me when I go abroad, so if there are any blournal updates over the weekend, I’ll most likely be using my phone. That is if I can actually learn how to blournal from my phone. Can I? I don’t see why I can’t. It’s entirely doable. Squarespace is the platform I used to build this website and it does have a mobile app feature which allows you to blog, although its options are so much more limited in comparison to when using it on a computer or laptop. Still, I might just have to make do with it for a couple of days, but I’l cross that bridge when I get to it.
