OK. I’ll admit. I have fallen for at least one April Fools’ joke today. Earlier this morning before I went to the gym, I saw an announcement on The Fright Club NI’s Facebook page that they’d managed to get Robert Englund for their upcoming Strange and Unusual event in Ballymena and I got excited for a couple of seconds before I read the fine print and remembered that today was April Fools Day.
Maybe the real April Fools were the friends we made along the way…
So, I was initially thinking about naming this blournal entry: “Make April Fools’ Day Great Again'“, especially since nearly everything to do with Trump and the MAGA movement feels like a needlessly dragged out April Fools joke that refuses to end.

Yep, it’s that time of year again and nope… I don’t have any jokes. Then again, it’s hard to top the current state of the world, which itself feels like an overly indulgent and drawn-out April Fools joke with no end in sight.
