May Day, May Day, May Day…

It's the first of May and I’m scratchy my head and wondering where the fuck the time has gone.

Started the day off on as good of a note as I could by spending an hour and a half exercising down at the hub. It was productive and I felt great afterwards, but the warm weather definitely makes things more difficult. After lunch, Dad and I went out for another wee dander, this time in Cabin Wood, which is this lovely little spot located just on the outskirts of Cookstown. Once again, I took plenty of photos…

…as well as a few photos of some straggling sheep who seemed particularly enamoured by this weird contraption I had in my hands. Either that or they understood the assignment. My guess is the latter.

So, yeah. Not the most productive of days but still a beautiful May Day regardless. Right now, I’m sitting out on the patio, listening to the ambiance of nature and looking back through past blournal entries, trying my best not to cringe. Ugh. It’s a necessary evil though. I want to avoid repeating myself as much as possible — although I’m sure I’ve probably done that a few things — and besides, I’d like to think that I’ve gotten at least somewhat better at this whole blournalling malarkey over time. I’m thinking about maybe doing a blournal entry where I look back on all the things I’ve promised that still haven’t come to fruition. I know that podcast that I said I was doing with my friend Alice hasn’t amounted to anything. That’s entirely my fault, by the way. I am the worst kind of procrastinator, but I’m still optimistic about the prospect of editing the pilot episode we made together before GTA VI comes out in November… provided it’s not delight. The question I posed in this blournal entry still stands. Which will come out first? D’n’A or GTA VI? Only time will tell.

Beer o’clock beckons.
