Pre-birthday

Feeling a bit stiff after my workout this morning, which was more challenging than usual due to the warm weather, but I’m pretty proud of myself and I want to keep up the good work.

Anyway, today is officially my last day as a 27-year-old. At the time of this writing, I’m merely hours away from turning 28. Not sure how I feel about that, but I’m looking forward to getting out for a few pints and having plenty of craic over the weekend, especially since Lavery’s annual barbecue is on Saturday and the annual barbecues tend to be a lot of fun. I’ll also be seeing James Gunn’s Superman tomorrow with a few friends. Yeah, I know most people have pretty much tapped out on superhero movies at this point, but as a fan of James Gunn’s work, I’m excited to see what he might bring to the table now that he’s shepherding this new DC Universe.

I plan to blournal more regularly going forward, but I’m not making any promises.
