So… another year to go before I hit the big 3-0…

So far, my 29th has been a relatively subdued affair. Not complaining by any means. Just observing. I’m well aware that birthdays tend to be a lot less exciting as you get older but I’m looking — not that they have to be — but that’s fine by me. I’m heading out for the night and I have a feeling that no matter what happens, there’ll be plenty of craic.

I spent part of the day curating a playlist for the occasion… starting with Altered Images’ Happy Birthday for obvious reasons. Aside from that, I can’t really think of very many birthday songs, let alone birthday songs that I personally like. The only other song I can think of just off the top of my head is The Sugarcubes’ Birthday, which isn’t really birthday-themed but I don’t really care that much. I love that song so much I’m gonna consider it as such.

Anyway, I’m in a bit of a rush so this is me signing off for the rest of the night. I may or may not come back with a report in the morning, but until next time, this is Danny Quinn signing off.
