Still pretty warm…

No, this is NOT a weather update. I just couldn’t think of a title for this one.

You know… even though I’ve been blournalling for almost two years now, I feel like I’ve neglected this website in that time. I suppose I could link to all those times where I’ve talked about my ambitions for the website, but I really don’t want to go back through all of them. There’s far too many broken promises and a shitload of cringe to boot, but for as much as I’m tempted to just delete everything and start all over, I won’t. The main reason why this blournal even exists in the first place is because I knew it would never come to fruition if I gave in to my inner perfectionist and kept tinkering away at the website until it was just right because it would never be “just right”. It’s still not right. The home page is almost entirely non-existent, the main blournal page definitely needs more than a few tweaks and I wasn’t fully satisfied with the actual galleries in the “galleries” section as seen in the upper bar, so I went and privated them some time ago. I can’t remember when exactly, but suffice it to say, that’s how it gonna look for a wee while, at least until I can figure out what I actually want to do.

Come to think, there’s a few things I would like to improve about the look of these blournal posts but I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.

So let’s do away with some leftover tabs that I’ve been meaning to close on both my phone and my laptop respectively.

If you didn’t get to see The Cure in Belsonic, you’re in luck. BBC Radio Ulster recorded it and the recording is available on BBC Sounds for another twenty days:

This one kind of ties back to the title. That would go some way towards explaining why my body clock has been FUBAR’d as of late:

Not gonna lie. I feel kind of the same way, although I’m curious if photos taken using a video game’s photo mode would be labelled as AI slop or “computer rendered artificial pictures” aka CRAP. I hope not because I love when games come with a photo modes. They’re one of my favourite things to dick around with in a game, plus I think taking photos in photo mode still requires a bit of thought and creativity. Maybe I’m wrong but I’d like to think it’s not even remotely on the same wavelength as generative shit.

I think that’ll do me for now. I have a pub quiz to partake in. Fingers crossed I do well.
