TLC Overload

The anxiety still lingers about ever so slightly, so to make up for that, I’m trying to give myself a little bit of extra TLC… although don’t worry, I’m still working out at the local hub.

I know I still have a lot more work to do, but I’m feeling pretty proud of myself, not only for all the progress I’ve made in the last few months, but also the fact that I’ve been sticking to my routine of going three days a week without fail since the middle of July. Funny enough, my favourite part of working out used to be the feeling I got afterwards. I might be absolutely sweltering and yes, I’d feel fucking knackered, a bit stiff and sore in all areas, but I’d feel great mentally. I still greatly enjoy that feeling, but I’m gradually starting to enjoy the process of pushing myself physically and seeing far I can go.

Also this week, I re-watched pretty much the entirety of Breaking Bad’s fourth season and I’ve even played through the Nintendo Switch for the first time in forever. I started playing Banjo-Kazooie and it’s a little dated in areas but very charming and addictive. I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for late 90s and early 2000s 3D platformers — Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Mario, etc. — and Banjo-Kazooie satiates that particulate craving for me nicely.

So, that’s that for now. I’ll be heading out to the pub shortly, but before I go, here’s a few more sunset photos I took this evening…

Man, I really need to start updating my galleries at some point.
