How’s this for a gym selfie?
Did some more working out down at the hub this morning. So far, I’m happy with the work I’ve been putting in but there’s still a little room for improvement. At the moment, my workouts are kind of lacking in structure, so that’s something for me to work on for my next session. I should probably get started on that pronto, but I’m not in any immediate rush.
Over the weekend, I also registered for the revival of Rock Around the Clock, which was a local stage production from way back in the day that paid tribute to the music of yesteryear. Some of my friends were involved in the original production and even now, it’s still discussed regularly when I’m in the pub. I wasn’t alive for the original Rock Around the Clock, which frustrates me to end because I would’ve loved it, not just for the entertainment value, but also because of the community aspect of it. I love community-based projects, especially when they involve people from all age groups coming together to entertain and have fun, so I’m really excited to see how this revival of Rock Around the Clock pans out. If anything, I think this is also a wonderful opportunity for the younger generations of Moortown to be a part of something special. This isn’t something we do terribly often and I’m really hoping that I can be a part of it in some way or another.
So, is there anything else to report? Well, not really. I’ll leave it at that for now.
Take care
