Breaking Bad
So, I’m just after watching the Breaking Bad episode “Mandala”… you know, that one episode where Skyler sings “Happy Birthday” to her boss. It’s probably one of the most cringeworthy moments in the show… or at least, that’s what the fans will tell you.
I’ll Add It To The List, Vol. 2
I got back from the gym a couple of hours ago and thought now would be a good time to add some more random titles to my list of things that I’ll most likely never get around to actually watching, reading, playing or listening to.
I should be in bed by now…
…lest I run the risk of potentially FUBAR-ing my already fragile body clock. Alas, I’m way too much of a night owl and my brain just doesn’t feel like switching off, so that’s why I’m still blournalling even though it’s well after midnight. Oh, well. It is what it is, I guess.
Looking A Bit More Spruced Up
Just back from getting myself a beard trim…
Not gonna lie, it feels good to get myself spruced up every now and then. Perhaps I’ll try to go for a more clean-shaven look again at some point, but for now, I’m perfectly content with the bearded look.
Slowly but surely perfecting the lost art of the gym selfie
Did another hour-long session in the gym earlier today, although it took time for me to truly get into the swing of things. I felt like I had a harder time getting warmed up than usual, which is most likely because my sleeping habits have left my body clock all out of whack.
This is not an update…
I haven’t blournalled since Friday and I’m sure you can guess why.
Life just isn’t all that exciting for me at the moment, although I do have a hectic weekend ahead of me.
The End of the Summer
You know that autumn’s right around the corner when it’s already getting dark and it’s not even nine o’clock… at least not at the time of this writing.
I’ll Add It To The List, Vol. 1
Anybody remember that bit in Captain America: The Winter Soldier where our boy, Cap, says “I’ll add it to the list”. Even though nobody has spent decades in ice (as far as I know), I think we can all relate to that line.
A little self-reminder
I’m heading up the wooden hill shortly but I still don’t have much of a plan for tomorrow… or should that be a plan for today? Who knows? It may already be Friday but it still feels like a Thursday to me.

I went and saw Together and Weapons at the local cinema yesterday.
The Princess Bride
Well, I finally got around to seeing The Princess Bride for the first time and I still feel like punching myself for not seeing it sooner.
The Naked Gun
Had to take a raincheck on seeing Rocky Horror yesterday due to extenuating circumstances, but I did see the Naked Gun reboot/sequel earlier today.
One in the morning…
I should probably be winding down right about now. It’s late and I’m tired, but my mind doesn’t know how to switch off.
Same shit, different day
Hi, everyone. Once again, I feel like I should apologise for the radio silence over the past week or so. I wish I could say I was busy, but truth be told, I haven’t really been up to much in the interim.
Focus (or lack thereof)
I'm still feeling a bit directionless but getting out on the bike earlier today did help to alleviate some of that frustration and ennui I’m currently facing.
Sweltering workout
I was gonna write something yesterday, but I simply wasn't feeling it. My head was feeling a little frazzled and my thoughts were too cluttered to really focus on anything. The warm weather also doesn't help matters when you’re trying to be more productive.

I promised myself last night that I’d be productive today, but that didn’t happen. Granted, it is a Saturday today so I probably shouldn’t be too hard on myself.
F1: The Movie
It’s been three weeks since I last saw Superman at the cinema, so I went out today with the intention of doing one of my signature double bill catch-ups. Alas, things didn’t quite work out that way and I wound up only getting the opportunity to see F1: The Movie.

The annual barbecues may be over, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s still summer.
I haven’t blournalled since I posted my tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, and that’s mostly because I don’t really have a lot to write about at the moment. Life’s been pretty uneventful, which may or may not be a good thing depending on the circumstances,

Our prince of darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, passed away yesterday.
I’m sure we all had a feeling this day was gonna come eventually — Ozzy’s health struggles have been well documented for some time — but even I didn’t expect it to be so soon.
