It’s that time of year again…
Happy Star Wars Day, everyone. May the 4th be with you… always.
Looking back on last year, I really made such a big fucking deal about how I was going to watch the entire Star Wars saga in chronological order all throughout the month of May. Obviously, that never really amounted to anything and in retrospect, I find myself cringing because I wrote so many goddamn blournal entries about how I hadn’t started watching The Acolyte yet, which, according to the official Star Wars website, is the chronological beginning of Star Wars. In the end, I only watched the first five episodes of that series and never got around to finishing it, so I’ll try and rewatch some of it this evening.
Slightly unrelated but with today being Star Wars day, here’s a photo of my mum’s handiwork. She knit this lovely little Grogu doll during the first COVID lockdown, long before we even knew the name of Grogu and he was just referred to as Baby Yoda. He may be Grogu but in my heart, he’s still our little Baby Yoda.
Remember, folks. The fourth will be with you… always.
